Synevyr lake is the largest lake in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. It was formed as a result of a powerful rock displacement caused by an earthquake, about 10 thousand years ago.

In the middle of the lake there is a tiny islet. It’s called the Marine Eye. The nature around the lake impresses by the incredible primeval beauty. The slopes near the lake, covered with spruce trees, amaze by its splendor.
