The lake is located near the village in the Kirovograd region. It is surrounded by swamps, which are called “Black Forest”.

Located among the marshes and endowed with unusual features, the creepy pond gives rise to a lot of legends and myths. Locals often hear voices and moans that come from its shores. Strange explosions can also frighten, but it is just the methane that accumulates in the lake and comes to the surface.

Nobody knows for certain the deep of the water. Moreover, this lake has a constant temperature all year round.
